Sabra Sultana

Sabra Sultana, is a resident of Jhelum. She was registered with DSF in 2006. Married at a young age with an elderly man she was a victim of ill treatment that culminated in the sad incident of acid throwing. Sabra was pregnant with a child, who was lost in the heartless and merciless act. As a brave survivor of the brutal assault, Sabra with the help and support of DSF has gone through multiple surgical procedures. While going through the pain of one surgery after the other she did not give up hope and eventually transformed into a healthy and cheerful personality.

After receiving required training she has very efficiently assumed the responsibilities as a patient coordinator and takes care of the patients registered in and around Rawalpindi. She is a role model and an emblem of hope and courage for the unfortunate victims of violence. After having gone through similar tortures and violence, she fully understands the pain of the victims.
